ip.world runs five parallel reward programs. They share terminology but pay out from different surfaces, on different cadences, to different people.
Referral program, points leaderboard, and profile stats

The five programs

Points

Season score from quests, trading volume, and milestones. Tracked on the Leaderboard and your profile. Points are off-chain — they rank you for season rewards, not direct payouts.

Referrals

Invite new users with your ip.world/?ref= link. You earn points for each signup and a fee-share from their trading activity.

UGC rewards

Post about tokens on X and TikTok. If your content drives attention and volume, you earn a cut of trading fees. Learn more →

Holder rewards

Hold a token, earn from every trade on it. 30% of meme-side trading fees go to holders, weighted by balance. Learn more →

Owner / Treasury

Verified IP owners receive a direct fee share. For community-type tokens, those fees route to the community treasury instead. Learn more →

Points vs fee-share

Points are an off-chain score that rank you on the leaderboard and unlock season rewards. Fee-share is on-chain — real $IP, $USDC, or token earnings from trading activity. You can earn both at the same time. Referrals give you points and fee-share. Trading gives you points and holder rewards. They don’t compete.

Referral program

Share your referral link — find it on your profile page or in the wallet menu.
Referral widget — points, earnings, referral count, and shareable link
When someone signs up with your link:
  • You earn points toward your season score
  • You earn a fee-share from their trading activity (5% of $IP-side fees)
  • They get the same referral bonus as a welcome reward
Pin your referral link in your X or TikTok bio. It counts toward both your referral score and your UGC score — double dip.

Season & leaderboard

Points accumulate during a season. The leaderboard ranks all users by total points and breaks down your score by source — trading volume, quests completed, referrals, and milestones hit. Season rewards are distributed at the end of each season based on your rank.
