🏛️IP Claim

Each IP registered on ip.world is associated with an IP owner and a unique social account (X/Tiktok).

Note the social account associated with the owner of the Evil Henchman IP (KamiWar1 on X)

1. Start the claim process by clicking on the Claim Ownership button. This will trigger a redirect to the social platform linked to the IP owner for account authentication (Please make sure that your browser is currently logged into either the X/TikTok account that is associated with the IP owner).

For this walkthrough, we'll be redirected to X for account authorization as the social account of the IP owner is based on X.

Click the Authorize app button

Upon successful authorization, you'll return to ip.world and be presented with a Connection Successful popup screen provided that the authorized social account matches the social account associated with that of the IP owner. This process also creates a permanent link between the social account and your wallet on ip.world.

Click the Claim IP button to finish the claim process

1. Once you've clicked the Claim IP button, the popup will change to the IP Claimed view.

Your wallet is now linked to a social account. If any new IP is registered on ip.world and its owner social account matches the one linked to your wallet, the claim will be processed automatically. This means you will skip the redirection to X/TikTok described in Step 1 and go directly to the Connection Successful popup after clicking the Claim Ownership button.
