# How to create an IP
1. **Connect your wallet** and click the **“Create IP”** button. Creating an IP costs 10 **$IP**.

2. **Enter the IP details**, including: \
• **IP name,** **aliases** and **image** \
• **IP description** \
• **Tags** (these help increase visibility) \
• **IP socials** (X, Instagram, Tiktok, Website)

3. **If you know the IP owner**, link their social media **account**. If you're unsure, the community will determine the legitimate owner later.
Check "I know who the owner is" if you are aware of the legitimate IP owner
4. **After everything is set up**, click **“Create IP”** and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once the IP is created, you'll be automatically redirected to its page.
